Come along to our meetups to improve your art in a relaxed and social atmosphere and under the guidance of a professional instructor. Complete beginners to experienced artists all welcome.

Our 2 hour meetups are held in a different location each time, usually outdoors.

Bring your own materials which can be anything from pencils or pastels, to watercolour or oils.

If you are a complete beginner all you need to start are a couple of good drawing pencils, a rubber, and a drawing pad.

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. The instructor is there to help everyone.

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Jennifer Lee is an artist and illustrator dedicated to helping you hone your craft and create beautiful art in a relaxed, welcoming environment. As a student of the BA Illustration course at Cardiff Metropolitan University, she understands the importance of having a safe space to express yourself through your art as you learn. Which is why, as your instructor, Lee will always provide helpful techniques and encouraging advice that helps you explore your creative freedom as an artist! From traditional to digital, landscape to portrait, and cartoon to realism, Lee is passionate and knowledgable about a diverse range of art styles.

This selection dates from about 2010 onwards. Its a random group of sketches and paintings and in one case just the top of one. (oops). A few are from holidaying in Weymouth and Portland Island but the majority of my work is of Hendre Lake in St Mellons Cardiff. This location forms the foundations for getting my ideas across and learning how to use the wonderful medium of watercolour to do this.

On the western slope of Colorado lies a small town called Cedaredge, Colorado my grandparents owned a small piece of property about halfway up the side of the Grand Mesa, considered the largest mesa in the world with over 300 lakes. My grandparents lived near a small lake. As a child, I have always been fascinated with insects, especially butterflies. In Cub Scouts, I became interested in entomology. This is a watercolor of the front of Flaglar College in St Augustine, Florida by international award winning Artist and instructor Patricia Du.cher. The building was originally contracted by European craftsmen in the late 1800's as an exclusive Hotel, by industrialist and developer Henry Flaglar. The building boasts many gorgeous stained glass windows created by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The original this painting is an 11 by 15 and prints are available on various materials.
